How to Switch the Daily Insights Report to Light Mode

How to switch the Daily Insights report from dark mode to light mode for property managers in Vision InSites.

By default, the Daily Insights report in Vision InSites is delivered in dark mode. However, if a customer prefers a light mode version—whether for visibility, comfort, or personal preference—you can easily switch the theme on a per-client basis.

Switching to Light Mode

Follow these steps to update the theme for a specific property management company:

  1. Start from the Activity Dashboard

    • You’ll land here by default upon login.

    • Or navigate back to it anytime by clicking the VI logo in the upper left corner or selecting Activity in the menu.

  2. Select the Client

    • Click on Clients from the left menu.

    • Choose the property management company you’d like to update.

  3. Enter Edit Mode

    • In the upper right corner, click Edit.

  4. Change the Default Theme

    • Under Default Theme Setting, select Light Mode.

    • Click Update to save your changes.

This setting will apply to all Daily Insights reports sent to that specific property management company.


Dark vs. Light Mode

  • Dark Mode: Default setting; preferred by many for its sleek appearance.

  • Light Mode: Offers a bright and clean layout with higher contrast, which some users find easier to read.

No matter the mode, your reports will maintain their professional layout and clarity.
