How to Enable Site Inactivity Notifications

Site Inactivity Notifications help alert your team when a Site has not received the expected amount of activity during a selected timeframe. This can be useful for making sure observations and tasks are being completed as expected.

How to Turn On Site Inactivity Notifications

  • Navigate to the Site you want to update.

  • Click Edit.

  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page.

  • Check the box labeled Enable Site Inactivity Notification.

Site Inactivity Notification Settings

  • Active Timeframe

    • This is the window of time you want to check of inactivity.

    • If you only want inactivity notifications to apply during active patrol or operating hours, you can set the timeframe accordingly.

  • Inactivity Notification Interval

    • This is how much time is allowed to pass before sending out a notification for inactivity.

We recommend selecting 30 minutes or more to allow enough time for normal activity to be recorded.

  • Minimum Activity Count

    • The minimum number of observations and/or tasks expected during the selected notification interval.

    • If the activity count falls below this threshold during the active timeframe, an inactivity notification is sent out.

  • Notification Recipients

    • The inactivity notification is received by everyone you include here.

⚠️ If you are including multiple e-mails or phone numbers, make sure they are separated with a comma.
