Time Clock: Review and Manage Officer Timesheets

Time Clock allows security officers to clock in, record breaks and lunches, and clock out. Administrators can review timesheets, check GPS punch information, make corrections, add missed shifts, and export records.

Written by Arthur Williams

Time Clock must be enabled for the option to appear in your navigation.

View Currently Clocked-In Officers

  1. From the Pulse dashboard, expand the right-hand sidebar.

  2. Select Clocked In to view officers who are currently clocked in.

  3. Select an officer and open their details to view the GPS location recorded when they clocked in.

The options shown in the sidebar depend on the features enabled for your account.

Find and Filter Timesheets

Select Time Clock from the left-hand sidebar to view your team’s recorded timesheets.

Use the Scope filters to narrow the results by:

  • Date or time

  • Employee

  • Site

  • Status

You can also include voided timesheets in your results.

Export Timesheets

Above the filters, open Export and Actions and choose Excel or PDF to export timesheet records.

Add a Missed Shift

If an officer forgot or was unable to clock in, you can add the shift manually.

  1. Open Export and Actions and select Add Shift.

  2. Select the employee.

  3. Assign a site, if applicable.

  4. Enter the shift’s start and end dates and times using the calendar options.

  5. Under Breaks, add any breaks or lunches and enter their dates and times.

  6. Select Add Shift to create the record.

Review a Timesheet

Select a timesheet to open its details. You can review the clock-in, lunch, and clock-out information, along with punch evidence and calculated hours.

Punch Evidence

The Punch Evidence section shows recorded clock-in and clock-out locations in relation to the site. Use this information to review where an officer recorded their punches.

To require officers to be within a designated area when clocking in, you can enable a geofence for the site.

Time Calculation

The time calculation shows the shift duration, recorded lunch time, and total hours worked.

For example, an eight-hour shift with a 30-minute lunch results in 7.5 hours worked.

Correct Times, Sites, or Breaks

Open the relevant timesheet, then:

  1. Find the section for correcting times or the site.

  2. Adjust the shift dates and times using the calendar options, or update the assigned site.

  3. In the breaks section, adjust any recorded lunch or short-break entries as needed.

Void a Shift

If a shift should no longer apply, open its timesheet and use More Actions to void it.

To find voided records later, include voided timesheets in your Scope filters.
