1. Find your route
After logging in, select Routes at the bottom of the Sites screen.
You’ll see the routes available to you. Each route shows basic details, including:
The scheduled day, date, and time frame.
The route’s status.
The number of sites.
The time remaining to complete it.
Select a route to view its instructions and stops.
2. Review the instructions
Before starting, review the Instructions section for any pre-trip requirements from your supervisor or manager.
For example, you may need to inspect your patrol vehicle for exterior damage, check that the interior is clean, and review dashboard gauges for maintenance issues.
If reference images are included, tap them to expand, pinch, and zoom for a closer look.
Review the site list for:
Addresses: The location of each stop.
Site notes: Quick instructions, such as arriving with patrol lights on.
Complete by times: Deadlines for specific stops.
3. Start your route
Select Start Route when you’re ready to begin.
Your profile appears at the top of the route, identifying you as its owner. The route’s status updates to show that it has started.
4. Visit each site and document your activity
Select Navigate to open directions in your phone’s maps app.
When you arrive, open the site from the route.
Follow any assigned tours, tasks, or site instructions.
Submit the required activity documentation.
Return to the route to confirm that your visit has been recorded with a timestamp.
Repeat these steps for each stop, keeping any Complete by times in mind.
5. Review completion notes and finish
After visiting all sites, review the Completion notes at the bottom of the route. These may include returning equipment or refueling the patrol vehicle.
Complete the required steps, then select Complete Route.
If you can’t visit every site
If you attempt to finish the route before all sites have been completed, you’ll be prompted to provide a reason. The route will be marked incomplete.
Your admins, managers, and supervisors can review this explanation for accountability.
