1. Open your dispatch assignments
When you have assigned dispatches, a notice appears at the top of the app showing how many are assigned and active. This notice stays visible as you move between screens.
You can access your dispatches in either of these ways:
Tap the dispatch notice at the top of the screen.
Tap your profile picture or username, then select My Dispatches.
The dispatch list shows basic information about each assignment, including its title, site, status, and when it was assigned.
Select a dispatch to open its details.
2. Review the assignment
Before responding, review the information provided:
Site and address: Where the response is needed.
Details: Information about the incident and any instructions.
Assigned personnel: Other team members assigned to the same dispatch.
Media: Photos or videos shared with the assignment. Tap images to expand them and pinch to zoom.
Activity timeline: A record of when the dispatch was created, assigned, updated, and opened.
Tap Navigate to open directions to the site in Apple Maps or Google Maps.
3. Start your response
Tap Start when you begin responding. This updates your status so the dispatch team knows you have acknowledged the assignment and are on your way.
Keep your status current throughout the response so dispatchers can track your progress.
4. Contact the dispatch team
If your company has the Feed feature enabled, you can send questions and updates within the assignment.
Open the dispatch’s messaging area, enter your message, and send it. Your dispatch team can reply in the same conversation.
For example, you might ask: “Do we know the last known direction this person was heading?”
5. Mark your arrival
When you reach the site, mark the dispatch as Arrived.
Updating this status lets the dispatch team know you are on-site and responding to the incident.
6. Document your findings
You can add an observation at any stage of the dispatch.
Tap Add Observation.
Enter your findings and relevant details about your response.
Submit the observation to share it with the dispatch team.
Describe what you observed and the actions you took so the team has a clear record of the response.
7. Complete the dispatch
Once you have finished your response and submitted your observations, mark the dispatch as Complete.
