Enable Site Inactivity Notifications

  • In the left navigation, select Sites.

  • Select the Site where you want to enable inactivity notifications.

  • Click Edit.

  • Scroll to the Site inactivity notifications section.

  • Select the checkbox to enable site inactivity notifications.

Configuration

  1. Set the Active time frame.

    • Choose the hours when guards are expected to be active at the Site.

  2. Select the Active days.

    • Choose the days of the week when inactivity notifications should be active.

  3. Choose the Inactivity interval.

This is the amount of time Vision InSites checks for the minimum required guard activity.

    For example, if you set:

    • Inactivity interval: 30 minutes

    • Minimum activity count: 1

A notification is sent if 30 minutes pass without at least one completed activity.

Choose a longer interval, such as one hour, if you want to give guards more time to complete activity before a notification is sent.

  4. Choose a Notification delivery method:

    • Email

    • Text message

    • Both email and text message

  5. Choose the Notification recipients.

    • If adding multiple custom email addresses or phone numbers, separate each entry with a comma.

Click Save changes.

The Site will now send inactivity notifications based on the schedule and activity threshold you selected.
