What is a Notification?
A notification is a system-generated email or text message sent to specific users. Notifications can be scheduled as recurring Daily Activity Reports (Insights Reports) or triggered in real-time by priority incidents that may require immediate attention.
Customization Options:
• Delivery Days: Choose specific days of the week.
• Priority Levels: Set notifications based on the severity of incidents.
• Delivery Methods: Opt for email, text message, or both.
• Observation Categories: Focus on Security, Parking, Maintenance, or all observations.
How to Add a Notification
1. Navigate to Clients:
Select the property management company for which you want to set up a notification.
2. Create a New Contact:
Click the New Contact button and fill in the required fields: first name, last name, phone number, and email.
3. Add Notification Preferences:
Once the contact is created, you can set up notification preferences.
💡 Important note: Enter only a cell phone number to enable text message notifications.
How to Add a Scheduled Daily Activity Report (Insights Report)
1. Click the Add New Preference button.
2. Set the Delivery Trigger to “Scheduled.”
3. Choose your preferred delivery method: email or SMS.
4. Select the Observation Category: All Categories, Security, Parking, or Maintenance.
5. Choose the Time of Day for the report to be sent.
6. Select all relevant sites for this user to receive notifications.
💡 Important note: The report will include the previous 24 hours of activity from the scheduled delivery time.
How to Add Real-Time Notifications for Priority Items
1. Click the Add New Preference button.
2. Set the Delivery Trigger to “On Occurrence.”
3. Choose your preferred delivery method: email or SMS.
4. Select the Observation Category: All Categories, Security, Parking, or Maintenance.
5. Choose the Property Level for real-time notifications: low, medium, or high.
6. Select all relevant sites for this user to receive notifications.
💡 Important note: Priority levels are defined as...
• Low Priority: Routine observations like checkpoints, procedures, and openings/closings.
• Medium Priority: Unusual but non-emergency observations like graffiti, illegal dumping, or burnt-out lights.
• High Priority: Emergencies such as fire, flood, blood, or emergency response.
